Product Description

3+NPE topology surge arrester built for three-phase five-wire TN-S and TT power systems, with separated phase-earth and neutral-earth discharge paths to avoid unbalanced neutral current issues seen on standard 4P SPDs. Classified as combined T2+T3 fine protection for LPZ1-LPZ2 terminal panels, carrying 20kA nominal and 40kA max surge capacity to withstand repeated lightning impulses. Vibration-proof pluggable modules fit continuously vibrating production cabinets, front visual window indicates module degradation, while remote contacts integrate with SCADA and building BA systems. Wide cable range supports high-power terminal circuits with consistent residual voltage clamping from -40℃ to +80℃.

Product features
●  Balanced surge diversion via 3-phase plus independent NPE dual paths
●  Dual Uc variants matching international three-phase mains grids.
●  Extra wide wiring range for heavy-duty power conductors
●  Passive dual alarm contacts for unattended electrical room monitoring.
●  Consistent operation in damp enclosed distribution enclosures.

●  Suitable for installation in LPZ 1 -2 and subsequent lightning protection zones , it is used as a fine lightning arrester for three-phase power supply systems .

FAQ

Q1: What is the core difference between 3+NPE and 4P SPD?

A: 4P units share a common neutral path; 3+NPE adds dedicated N-E discharge channel for more balanced neutral surge flow, ideal for sensitive terminal loads.

Q2: Can this topology be used on TN-C-S distribution networks?

A: Yes, follow standard grounding wiring for separated PE branches.

Q3: Can multiple arresters be wired in parallel on one alarm circuit?

A: Dry contacts can be paralleled via relays for unified central monitoring signals.
